Welcome to Field House Nursery, the newest addition to the Portland Nurseries family. Conveniently located in Brighouse, Field House offers a warm, welcoming nursery where children feel safe, happy, and inspired to learn through play, exploration, and meaningful experiences.
Our experienced Early Years Educators build strong, nurturing relationships with every child and their family, creating a caring atmosphere where children feel valued, supported, and encouraged to develop at their own pace. Through our bespoke play-based curriculum, children develop confidence, curiosity, resilience, and a lifelong love of learning.
Outdoor play is at the heart of every day. Our extensive gardens provide endless opportunities to explore nature, with mud kitchens, sand play, planting areas, dens, and natural spaces that inspire creativity, confidence, and problem-solving.
Inside, our bright, thoughtfully designed nursery provides engaging learning spaces where children can investigate, create, build, read, and enjoy imaginative play. Our homely baby room has its own dedicated outdoor play area, allowing our youngest children to safely enjoy fresh air, sensory exploration, and outdoor play from the very beginning of their nursery journey. While older children benefit from our Focus Room and enriching experiences including Science Lab, Cooking Club, and Language Sessions.
We believe children thrive when nurseries and families work together. Through our secure ParentZone app, parents can follow their child's learning journey, celebrate achievements, and share special moments from home.
