January’s topic here at Harlequin is Physical Exercise. We have been talking about the effects of PE on our bodies and will be tying lots of different types of physical activities over the month.
This week we have been focusing on yoga. We have tried some very interesting balancing games. Balancing helps the children and staff feel poised, composed and aligned. Having some time in, this helps us to unwind, rest and revive. Different breathing techniques allows us to tune in and focus.
Danielle makes a very good yoga teacher. The children have enjoyed her sessions. Why not ask your child what their favourite yoga position is.
