World Turtle Day was a great learning opportunity focused on raising awareness about the importance of protecting turtles and tortoises and their habitats.
At Harlequin we learnt why it’s important to keep our oceans clean and how we can help release them back into the ocean if they are accidently caught in fishing nets. We created our own turtles habitats and played a turtle colour matching game. Some children enjoyed painting their own pictures of turtles and at circle time we read a book about a turtle and how he saves the day 😊
