To celebrate World Book Day on Thursday 1st March, the children from pre-school at Oakwood House brought in their favourite books to share with their friends. A group of children also enjoyed a walk to Lindley Children’s Book Shop where they used their £1 World Book Day vouchers to purchase a book of their choice.
Worl Book Day is a celebration of reading and encourages children to explore the pleasures of books and reading by providing them with the opportunity to have a book of their own and is marked in over 100 countries all over the world.
