In celebration of ‘Women and Girls in Science’ Harlequin preschool have become scientists! Our first scientific investigation 'float or sink'. The sink or float experiment is a part of our ongoing STEM learning. We collected a range of objects to test and we were able to predict which items might float or sink. The children were also able to compare similar objects and deduce why one floated while the other sank. The children were amazed at which objects floated and found it particularly funny that the goat floats.
