This month Oakwood House younger preschool have been learning about the season change and that its “Winter”.
We have been talking about cold water and frozen water and decided to freeze some dinosaurs. The children really enjoyed experimenting with the frozen egg. We introduced vocabulary such as ‘frozen, cold, ice, hard, melt’.
We tried to rescue the dinosaurs by pouring warm water over the frozen eggs and watched the ice get smaller!
