To celebrate the Wimbledon tournament, the Harlequin children have been practicing with the bats and balls using gross motor skills and hand eye co-ordination to try hit the ball. They had lots of fun learning to throw, roll and catch the balls, some children played together to take turns and pass the ball in a range of ways to one another.
After all the sporting activities the children had worked up some appetite, we celebrated with a yummy bowl of strawberries and cream in the garden for afternoon snack.
