When Colin did phonics

Today as the Bluebell children at Portland House made their way to take part in their letters and sounds circle time they thought that they could hear the faint sound of bells.

The children discovered that our visiting Norwegian Gnome who is called ‘Colin’ had been playing with the sound bottles and bells. Excitedly the children introduced themselves to Colin and gave him a demonstration of the secret sounds game. They took it in turns to shake a bottle inside a bag as their friends listened carefully to the sounds and then guessed which bottle it might be.

Next the children wanted to sing some Christmas songs to Colin as it is widely known that Norwegian Gnomes love Christmas songs. After this some of the children wanted to give Colin a hug before getting ready for their lunch.

The Bluebells are eager to see what our cheeky little visitor might get up to next.
