Travelling Ted has been set a challenge to raise money for ‘The Forget Me Not Children’s Hospice’ our nominated charity.
His challenge: To visit as many attractions, towns, cities and countries from Monday 2nd April to Friday 20th July.
So far the families of Portland House Nursery, Lindley have raised over £60 taking Ted on some fantastic journeys which have all been recorded in a special journal. He has been to Scotland, Wales, Disneyland Paris, Centre Parks, the seaside, rugby matches, and he has even been to watch CBeebies at Sheffield Arena.
Julie Lister the managers explains, “ This is such a fun challenge for everyone at Portland House, the children are really involved and have loved taking Ted away with them. It is really important that fundraising within the nursery allows everyone to join in, from children, parents, extended families, staff, and friends. We still have a couple of months left of the challenge and hope to raise much more for The Forget Me Not Trust”
