Summer Term in Large Preschool!

Over the summer term in large preschool it was finally time to harvest the vegetables we planted back in April. We picked plenty of potatoes and carrots, cleaned them, chopped them up and cooked them in cooking club. We had them for our snack with some yummy humus dip.

We got into the world cup spirit looking at some of the flags of the participating countries and tried drawing a few ourselves. We practised our kicking, passing and penalties outside as well.

Finally for Yorkshire Day we made some delicious Yorkshire pudding pancakes. We measured the ingredients and mixed them all together in the science kitchen and took the mixture outside to cook the pancakes on our campfire. We even had a special pan that allowed preschool to hold them over the fire. They were very yummy and we ate them for our pudding!
