On National story telling day Thursday 4th March we all had tremendous fun dressing as characters from our favourite books and also recreating stories through a variety of different activities across the day.
At Portland House we are looking at continuing our love of stories throughout the month of March where we can enjoy our story times by creating lots of opportunities in unusual places to read stories and bring them to life in both our indoor and outdoor environments.
We would love you to join in with storytelling at home by looking for different places where you can enjoying sharing a story with your child. It might even be fun to find an unusual spot where you can read a story, in the shed, make a den, in the garden, or whilst out on a walk in the community. We would love for you to post photos of your story sessions on your child’s iconnect or email them to the office to put on our Facebook page to share with others.
