Stay and Play Nursery Rhyme Week!

The Fairfield children took part in Nursery Rhyme week for their events this week and have explored lots of lovely activities with their families and friends.

The children learnt a variety of nursery rhymes in depth, doing this through a variety of activities. We made hand puppets for ‘two little dickie birds’, we dug for treasure in the sand tray to sing along to “when I was one” and we made treasure maps to find our way.

The toddlers made rain makers to play with during circle time for “I hear thunder”.  Babies enjoyed using their senses when exploring the ‘five current bun’ tuff tray, and the preschool children linked their STEAM learning making current buns in cooking club and the toddlers used all their senses when making gingerbread men.
