Snow Adventures

After a heavy night of snowfall the Portland House Bluebells preschool children had a fantastic time playing out in their winter wonderland garden.

The children took turns on sledges and worked collaboratively as a team to pull each other and down the garden. The children also had lots of fun rolling in the snow making patterns and tracks but their absolute favourite delight was creating snowballs and throwing them at each other.

The children also carried on their snow theme indoors and got messy with mud rock creations building snowmen and snowflakes. To create our snow person we used a yoghurt pot and covered it in the mud rock substance, we then made its head by rolling some of the mud rock to form a ball. The children also created wonderful snowflakes combining lollypop sticks and mud rock.
