The babies at Hollybank enjoyed taking part in different science experiments. Outside they enjoyed exploring shaving foam using different mixing tools to help develop their fine motor skills. They explored what happened to the colour of the foam when they mixed in blue and purple paint.
Indoors they have enjoyed exploring our magnetic tray where they have been fascinated by the push and pull forces of the metal rings and the magnetic dishes. Our older babies enjoyed practicing their counting skills by counting the metal rings and we introduced descriptive language such as "pull" "push" "magnets" and "stuck".
