The babies at Holly Bank have been creating scarecrow pictures with their feet. This was a great sensory activity for the babies to experience the texture of paint on their feet!
We introduced descriptive language to describe the texture of the paint such as "wet, cold, sticky, squelchy". The babies stomped their footprint onto paper for the adults to help add the scarecrow features! We also learnt a new song the "dingle dangle scarecrow" and some of the children were able to join in with the actions using their bodies.
