This week we celebrated Road Safety Week! The Oakwood House toddlers did lots of activities based around this, inside we used the felt pieces to make our road and placed houses and cars on it too! We talked about where it is safe to cross the road and made our own different crossings on our play road.
We then took this activity outside and we went across to the baby garden to safely practice crossing the car park. We held hands and wore our hi-vis to make sure we were seen by any cars. Whilst crossing we stopped, looked left, looked right and decided as a group we were safe to cross as they were no cars to be seen. We also have our mini policeman helping us!
