A Wild Time at Oakwood House Nursery for Red Nose Day
The children, parents and staff from Oakwood House Nursery had a really wild time when raising money for Comic Relief.
Both children and the staff paid to dress up furry for the day in their animal onesies and had their faces painted when they arrived at nursery. The children paid to bring in their cuddly toys for the really wild tea party and parents with big ape-itites joined in.
The children had great fun during the monkey talent show where the favourite and funniest activity was who can peel a banana the quickest! They also held a Bake sale in which the children sold the cakes they had been baking. We have raised over £100 for this worthwhile charity.
During the week the children have been taking part in learning activities about the wider world and why we have red nose day.
