Holly Bank babies have been celebrating the start of Ramadan! We have done lots of activities relating to stars and the moon as the moon represents the Muslim calendar and the star King Solomon a prophet in Islam. The children have enjoyed looking at some shiny pebbles to represent the moon and we spoke about the different sizes and shape. We also used our fine motor skills and a star cutter to stamp out some stars in the playdough. This has been a great opportunity for the babies to learn more about different religions!
