Preschool Space Explorers

Preschool children at Portland House have been having so much fun exploring space activities during this special week. Our children have had their eyes up in the sky looking for the sun, the moon and the planets. We have been making our own telescopes, ready to find the planets in the sky ready for when the 7 planets are scheduled to align and may be visible for us all to see.

We have been learning all about astronauts and what they do in the International Space Station and we have made our own rocket designs using paper and building with Lego for the big build day. We particularly enjoyed playing our new game of space bingo and have been building our repertoire of knowledge around the planet names and interesting space objects.
