The Buttercups at Holly Bank have been very interested in how the postal service worked after seeing the postman delivering letters to nursery. We decided to write a letter to our nursery manager Moji telling her what we wanted to play with outside at nursery.
We used our early writing skills to write our letters, then we took a trip to the local post office. We bought a stamp to stick on our letter and then posted it into the post-box and waited for Moji to receive it.
Moji says: It was a lovely surprise to receive a letter from the children in the Buttercup room; they had drawn some fabulous pictures and had some brilliant ideas of resources we could use. The best bit was that I got the letter on my Birthday so it was super special!
