The Portland Poppies have been busy this autumn exploring nature in the garden as the season changed to autumn. They were really interested in harvesting all the potatoes that they had grown from seed and counting them into the tub. They brought them inside to wash them and then took them to Yannick in the kitchen as he used them in some of the nursery menu dishes. We enjoyed eating them when he had cooked them, yummy they were really tasty!
Great fun was had with the leaves jumping in piles, scooping them up in crates and our very favourite experience was throwing them up in the air and watching them float down to the ground, especially when they tickled our heads and faces.
The Poppies liked the challenge of jumping off the boulder and helping each other to achieve this – great team work Poppies!!
