Over the past few months the Oakwood House babies have been tending to our garden!
We started by sowing the seeds and then the babies took on the important job of watering the crops and even singing to them to encourage them to grow. Finally this week we were able to harvest our fruits and vegetables, the babies had lots of fun digging for and pulling the potatoes out of the planters and collecting the apples from the apple tree, taking great pride in what they had grown.
Our potatoes were used to make delicious potato and red pepper soup that was enjoyed by the whole nursery and the babies used the apples to make tasty apple and cinnamon cookies that they took home to enjoy with their families!
