The babies at Harlequin have had a great time learning all about space this week. They have been exploring lots of shiny, metallic objects and they have been lying under our air projector calmingly star gazing. They painted their own night sky picture and created solar systems using pom poms, foil and stars in playdough. We even turned off all the lights and looked up at the sky to count the stars.
The toddlers and preschool children have been having lots of fun too during our Out of this World Week. We have been learning songs about space, writing stories about our trip to space in a rocket and meeting some friendly aliens and we have even made a giant rocket. We have been painting our rocket and we can’t wait to take it on a trip to space to explore all the planets and stars. We are really looking forward to our dress up day on Friday and can’t wait to see all our fantastic costumes and outfits.
