Today we have been learning all about octopus at Fairfield. Our babies have been exploring the sea, practising their single words when recognising animals and making connections with the world around them.
The toddlers have been exploring under the sea, they have created the most wonderful clay Octopus, they used their fine motor skills to manipulate the clay and counted the pipe cleaners as they added their tentacles.
Preschool have made some amazing octopus biscuits in science club and have enjoyed combining different textures and using their knowledge of numbers to weigh, count, and divide quantities.
