Harlequin toddlers and preschool have been talking about teeth and how to take care of them. We practiced brushing them using a model set, shaving foam as toothpaste and a small toothbrush. We used a sand timer set for 2 minutes to let the children know how long they needed to brush their teeth for at home and made sure to brush the top and bottom of the teeth and the front and back. The children were also very proud to show off their own brushed, shiny teeth.
