The babies at Holly Bank enjoyed taking part in this water activity with our pretend snakes. We placed the snakes in the water tray and added leaves from the garden which we pretended was sea weed. The adults demonstrated the hissing sound a snake makes and encouraged the older babies to repeat it. The younger babies also enjoyed the sensory experience of using their hands to splash in the water.
