The Portland House preschool children have enjoyed celebrating "National Puzzle Day" by putting together lots of puzzles.
We have had puzzles with jungles scenarios and the children have had so much fun at discovering what animals were hiding in the puzzles. We have put together a puzzle hiding a beautiful beach and we have dreamt of our Summer Days. We have explored puzzles with children's faces and talked about what makes us unique and special. Our children have also enjoyed putting together jigsaws with CVC words in phonics, sounding the letters aloud and blending the words.
