The Bluebells at Holly Bank have been enjoying the wet weather this week making amazing mud pies with sprinkles!
We used spades and trowels to collect lots of mud to use in our pies, and then we added lots of rain water to make the mud super sloppy before finishing them off with some sprinkles made from leaves. We got very messy whilst doing it!
We have also been creating our own muddy puddles to jump in by pouring lots of rainwater on to the garden. We made some very big splashes – luckily we all had our wellies on!
We have also been practising transporting water from one area to another using various containers. Some of the containers had holes in them and we quickly learnt that these were no good for carrying water. We are all very clever problem solvers!
