The Olympic Games have been such an exciting time for our children so what better way to celebrate than to hold our very own here at Harlequin Nursery and raise money for our chosen charity the Forget Me Not Children’s Hospice at the same time.
We all had such a fun time with children and their families all taking part in sponsored events such as the sack race, the egg and spoon race, long jump, running, hopping, skipping and jumping , hula hoop racing for the grown-ups and tunnel crawl for the babies.
Our winning athletes all received medals and trophies to take home with them, even a few of our parents won medals too. It was a fantastic opportunity for the children to explore active sports outdoors and also helps to build team skills, turn taking and sharing through healthy completion.
Our families raised an amazing £305 for the Forget Me Not Children’s Hospice.
