Pre-school children from Holly Bank Nursery have raised £360 for their nominated charity the Forget Me Not Trust in a two week sponsored Matchbook Challenge. The record number of items in a box was 90, with some interesting items ranging from a spider, grains of rice, buttons, stamps and coins.
Manager Claire “The children had a fantastic time filling their matchboxes and getting family and friends to sponsor them. We were delighted to see children and family members getting involved to help raise money for this very important local charity.
