We feel that is incredibly important to teach children from a young age how to value and respect the planet we live on. This week the Holly Bank Poppies have been learning about the Earth and how we can look after it.
They have learned about saving energy, recycling and embracing nature and the outdoors. There have been lots of activities to support this learning including den building, bird watching, building birds’ nests with materials found in the garden and cloud watching.
The children particularly enjoyed creating models with materials that they had recycled from home.
