The children have been busy practising their physical skills in the forest at Oakwood House. They had a great time in a group exercise session, they learnt about why exercise is good for us and learnt about our hearts beating faster.
The children have also perfected their climbing skills in the bushes. The children used their accurate judgement to decide which bushes to climb and jump and balance.
Giving the children the time, space and freedom to demonstrate their independence has given them self-confidence and self-belief. The children have also developed their physical stamina and their gross motor skills
