Today at Oakwood House the children have had an amazing time celebrating international mud day! All age groups have embraced mud play.
During the Forest School session the children explored their senses in the wet and squishy mud! They looked for a suitable place for the ‘Giant’ to build his house and thought the bridge would be a good place, “So the giant can hide.”
They drew pictures for the Giant and made him a delicious tea in the mud kitchen. They then decorated the trees with muddy hand prints to show the Giant their wonderful artwork.
