We are thrilled to announce an exciting new opportunity for our children here at Holly Bank nursery! This term, we will be welcoming coaches from the fantastic Huddersfield Giants to deliver fun and engaging sports and rugby sessions.
These sessions have been specially designed for early years children and will focus on:
- Developing fundamental movement skills
- Building confidence and teamwork
- Improving coordination and balance
- Encouraging a love of physical activity
The coaches will introduce rugby-inspired activities in a safe, playful, and age-appropriate way — no tackling involved! The emphasis will be on fun games, ball skills, listening skills, and working together as a team.
Physical development is a key part of the Early Years Foundation Stage, and we are delighted to be working in partnership with a professional local sports team to enrich our curriculum and provide new experiences for the children.
The children are already buzzing with excitement, and we can’t wait to see their skills and smiles grow over the coming weeks.
