The children at Oakwood House have been very ‘eggcited’ over the past couple of days. They have watched chicks hatching from their eggs in the incubator and were able to hold them for the first time today. They were all very caring, loving and nurturing towards the chicks. The children were so gentle, talking about how the chicks hatched from the egg and that they may be a little tired once they had hatched!
“Look Teresa I did it I held the chick” said one child excitedly!
