This week everyone at Oakwood House said goodbye to Caitlin who starts school in September. We have been privileged to not only look after Caitlin, but also her two elder brothers. The family have been using the nursery since 2010, not long after we opened and we will all miss them greatly.
The family came in to say goodbye and have a quick photo with some of the team. We presented them with some book tokens and flowers to say thank you for choosing Oakwood and good luck for the future. Jackson aged 7 described his time at Oakwood House “I love Oakwood House, I really loved being outdoors and it’s where I started my conker collection!”
Samantha Richmond, Nursery Manager said “It’s really sad saying goodbye but the children have promised to come back and visit”. Emma, the children’s mum said “All three children have grown and flourished in your care, and we couldn't have asked for a better start. Everything, from the home-cooked meals, to the amazing outdoor activities, has made it a memorable and happy time. Please pass on our thanks to every one of your caring and dedicated staff. We will definitely miss coming.”
