Oakwood House held a first aid for parent’s course recently. Parents and grandparents gained valuable first aid knowledge and practical skills on a 3 hour short course learning how to deal with everyday childhood illnesses, accidents and first aid situations. Subjects covered were resuscitation, choking, bleeding, seizures, burns, meningitis and bites and stings. We had some great feedback and will be organising more courses like this in the future.
