The Holly Bank children enjoyed getting creative and making their own special Father’s Day cards to take home as a surprise for their Daddies, Grandads and Uncles. It was lovely to see the care and thought they put into making something special for the important people in their lives.
We also welcomed our Dads, Grandads and Uncles into nursery for a special Stay and Play. It was fantastic to see the children sharing their nursery environment and favourite activities with their special visitors.
During circle time, we talked about why we love our Dads and other special people in our lives. We shared our ideas and listened to stories about Dads, Grandads and other important male role models, creating opportunities to talk about the special relationships and people who are important to us. The children even dressed up as dads - some interesting choices of outfits.
A huge thank you to all the Dads, Grandads and Uncles who came along and joined in the fun! Your time and involvement made the celebration extra special, and we loved sharing these precious moments together.
