Over the last few months at Portland House Nursery we have begun re-developing the woodland area at the bottom of the garden; Anne and Julie have created some lovely natural den areas for the children to explore and let their imagination come to life!
The children have enjoyed exploring the tree house, lazing in the hammock making music on the giant xylophone and cooking up a storm in the mud kitchen
Over the next few months we are going to be focussing on some lovely topics that the children have shown a keen interest in; Astronauts and fairies! We are hoping that we will soon have some of our very own fairies living in the bottom of the garden. There have been signs that they have been visiting the enchanted woodland area and are looking to build their houses in there very soon.
The children are very excited about our new woodland and we look forward to sharing our findings with you!
