The Oakwood House preschool and toddler children have been learning all about Diwali, the festival of lights through stories, songs and craft.
The toddlers did some painting using bright colours like pinks and orange to make fireworks on our paper by flicking the brush and did some gluing and sticking tissue paper for some different textured fireworks too!
The preschool made their very own firework paintings through stamp printing. The stamps were made using our cutting skills and then these were dipped into the paint. We worked with different media to make our pictures even more fantastic. Happy Diwali!
