Creative Christmas

The children have been very busy in the Daisies room at Harlequin making little Christmas goody bags for parents,

They were incredibly creative and used a range of different materials to create the items inside.

• We had fun doing some hand and foot prints using red, green and yellow paint. – We used our prints to then make a calendar and a star topper for the Christmas tree. • Painting using sponge dabbers, paintbrushes and of course our hands to create beautiful Christmassy pictures. • We dressed up in Christmas hats, jumpers and outfits then had our picture taken, the picture was then used to make a lovely glittering snow globes. • And we also had fun doing some Christmas collage pictures using foam shapes and Christmas confetti.

The children have also been busy making snowmen pictures and snowflake pictures using white paint and also snowflake collages to go on the new winter board. We have also spent some time learning two new songs, “I’m a great big snowman” and “I’m a little snowflake”. The babies have enjoyed moving to the rhythm and doing the actions too.
