Holly Bank's latest Stay and Play was a fun filled afternoon celebrating the Chinese New Year. Over the past month the children have been exploring and learning about the Chinese culture and the session was a great opportunity for everyone to come together and celebrate this date. The Poppies made lanterns and fans and the Daisies finger painted the traditional Chinese dragon. The children listened to Chinese music and all got to eat spring rolls and prawn crackers.
The next Stay and Play session will be held in the Bluebells on 17th March. We will be celebrating St Patricks Day. We have a number of children with Irish heritage attending the nursery and this is a fun way to explore Irish traditions.
