Oakwood House Childrens Council have assisted David our cook in the kitchen with the delivery of our fresh fruit and vegetables.
They spoke about which vegetables David would be using today to make our lunch and we were excited to find out that sweet potato will be in our curry. David cut open the sweet potato so the children could look at the texture before it was cooked.
We were eager to find out which colour apples had been delivered for our snack, we shared our favourite and spoke about how shinny the apples were.
The School Council then informed their peers what they had discovered.
