Celebrating Inclusivity: All our sites have completed Dingley’s Promise training

Portland Nurseries is thrilled to announce that all six of its locations have earned the prestigious Dingley’s Promise Accreditation, reflecting their dedication to inclusive, high-quality early years education for children with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND).

Dingley’s Promise is a nationally recognised organisation championing inclusion for children with SEND and their families. This accreditation highlights Portland Nurseries’ excellence in staff training, tailored support for SEND children, and collaborative partnerships with families.

Dingley's Promise is also a shining example of how inclusion goes beyond supporting children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND). Their work emphasizes creating environments where every child, regardless of ability or background, feels valued and empowered. By fostering a sense of belonging, they champion the idea that inclusivity benefits all children, helping to build communities that celebrate diversity and nurture empathy from an early age. Through their holistic approach, Dingley's Promise paves the way for a more equitable and understanding future for everyone.

With over 34 years of experience supporting children with diverse SEND needs, Portland Nurseries has provided personalised care, created nurturing environments, and built strong family partnerships. The team’s commitment to continuous professional development ensures the highest standards of inclusive education, with regular training throughout the year.

To further support the community, Portland Nurseries also offers free Stay and Play sessions for SEND children at Bradley House in Huddersfield (Bradley Road, HD2 1PR), providing a welcoming space for play, socialisation, and family connection.

This achievement underscores Portland Nurseries’ mission to nurture every child’s potential and foster a sense of belonging for all.
