The children in the Holly Bank preschool room have had a fantastic time celebrating Holi, the festival of colours! We’ve spent the morning exploring and experimenting with all things colourful, and it’s been full of fun, creativity, and laughter.
We kicked off the day by diving into a colourful experiment! The children loved mixing different colours together to create brand new shades. It was amazing to see their excitement as they combined paints and powders to make vibrant, swirling colours—some of them even created their own rainbow!
After our colourful creations, we got our bodies moving with a fun ‘Colour Run’ around the preschool garden! The children ran, jumped, and laughed as they splashed through colourful chalk paths, leaving behind a trail of bright hues. It was a great way for the little ones to stay active while celebrating the spirit of Holi.
It was a morning filled with creativity, movement, and, of course, lots of colour! The children not only had a blast but also learned about the importance of this festival, celebrating friendship, unity, and the joy of colour.
