This week at Holly Bank we have been learning about Eid and exploring different traditions and celebrations. The children enjoyed listening to a variety of stories and books about Eid, helping them learn about the importance of kindness, family, sharing, and celebration.
The children also had lots of fun creating colourful sensory bags using a range of materials, textures, and bright colours. They loved exploring the different sensory experiences and talking about the colours and patterns they could see.
Our preschoolers got creative making their very own Eid lanterns. They carefully decorated and assembled their lanterns using vibrant colours and patterns inspired by traditional Eid celebrations. The children were very proud of their beautiful creations, which helped brighten our learning environment as we displayed them on the windows and watched the light shine through.
It has been wonderful to see the children engaging in meaningful discussions, creative activities, and learning about different cultures and celebrations together.
