The Oakwood House toddler children have enjoyed celebrating Darwin Day today, taking part in some experiments and science activities.
We have made potions outside, watching the sand create ‘worm’ like shapes in the water. The children put the potions underneath a secret bush for the fairies to drink and give them ‘flying wings’.
The children also went a colour hunt, investigating and finding natural colours outside “The leaves are green” “The sky is bright”.
