Buttercups in the Community The Buttercup babies at Portland House enjoyed a trip to Lindley Library to take part in their weekly ‘Rhyme time’ sessions. This was the first nursery outing experience for some of the babies who are our new starters this term, providing the opportunity for a new adventure to explore the local community along the way. The babies enjoyed meeting new people as they gleefully waved to passers-by and pointed at vehicles as they strolled along in their double buggy chariots. At the library the children had particular fun joining in with one of their favourite rhymes ‘Row, row, row your boat’ and marching along to the ‘Grand old Duke of York’. Babies from both the Buttercup and Daisy rooms will be continuing to enjoy the weekly visits, participating in the ‘Rhyme time’ sessions at the library.
