The Holly Bank babies have been practicing their technology skills with our new busy board.
In the EYFS as well as ICT equipment, technology relates to making things work. For children up to 26 months, the focus is on learning to use toys that have buttons, flaps or other simple mechanisms. The busy board has a variety of attachments including bolts, switches, doors and wheels which all require a different action to make them move.
The babies have quickly learned how to make each part of the board move and enjoy seeing the different effects they can make.
