The children at Portland House Fun Club turned into a wizard school for the day with Professor Annie Bobbins and Professor Julie Woolie. They made their own broomstick using branches from the enchanted woodland, twine and coloured materials with magic flying dust sprinkled upon them as we chanted our magic spell.
Their first flying lesson involved how to mount and dismount their broomstick safely, turn on their engines and to fly a short distance around the garden. The children also learned how to catch their broomsticks which was captured on photos demonstrating their flying experiences and levitation skills.
We are proud to announce that all the children successfully passed their Broomstick training with flying colours and received a certificate. How to levitate and fly the broomstick remains top secret so unfortunately the children will be unable to share this with you.
